The problem of environmental protection becomes especially acute due to the pollution of water bodies and soils as a result of broad exploration of oil and gas resources, increased frequency of accidents related to an intensification in oil production, deterioration of basic production assets, particularly the pipeline transportation. This causes considerable ecological consequences, since oil pollution impairs a lot of natural processes and interconnections, significantly changes the habitat conditions for all species of living organisms and also is accumulated in the environment.

The “Ultrachist” biopreparation is created for cleaning from oil and oil products in cases of soil and water bodies pollutions, industrial oil-containing sewages, recultivation of oil-contaminated areas, reutilization of oil sludge. “Ultrachist” effectively oxidizes the broad spectrum of oil hydrocarbons, including aromatic hydrocarbons, in wide range of temperature (from +5 to 45 ºС) and water salinity (up to 150 g/L). As a result of biological treatment of oil pollution in the environment there remain only the rapid-degradable bacterial proteins that need no further utilization, and non-toxic products of oil decomposition.
