Main pollutants of domestic sewage waters are protein compounds, greases, carbohydrates and their degradation products. Inorganic part is composed from salts contained in drinking water or formed in human metabolic processes (phosphates and ammonium salts – products of urea hydrolysis). Inorganic admixtures of sewage waters also include sand and clay particles that get into sewages after washing of fruits and vegetables, cleaning, etc. Organic compounds constitute 45 — 58% of full volume of domestic sewage pollutions.
